Volt is immediately hiring for a Facilities Maintenance Manager in Ball Ground, GA.
As a Facilities Maintenance Manager you will:
- Monitor status of maintenance projects and escalate concerns that could result in completion delays.
- Receive and prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency and available resources.
- Supervise the maintenance team, which includes hiring, managing performance, assigning work schedules, and identifying and securing training needs.
- Partner with plant personnel to address and find resolve equipment failures through root cause analysis.
- Actively participate in site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage preventative maintenance programs for the site and inspect work for completeness.
- Maintain records and documentation related to repairs and inspect equipment regularly to identify current and potential needs.
- Manage vendors, contractors and subcontractors and will be actively involved in the request for proposal (RFP) process.
- Understand, practice, and champion the company s established safety procedures and quality standards.
- Be responsible or assist with environmental compliance and reporting activities for the Ball Ground site.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Preferably a Bachelor s degree
- 6
years of experience related to managing the maintenance activities and team for a manufacturing/industrial facility. - Proven experience selecting and managing vendors, contractors, preventative maintenance programs, etc.
- A minimum of 2 years leading a team.
